Wstar is in the business of making world-leading companies and organisations look good. We design, manufacture and supply bespoke uniforms and work garments that assist productivity, promote brands and enhance reputations. And we go about our business in the most sustainable way possible, through environmentally-responsible choices of materials, processes and partners.

While we’re known today as Wstar, our company began life in 1938 as Wellfit. This name derived from our glove-making contract with the New Zealand Armed Forces, which resulted in ‘well fitting’ gloves for military men and women.

Since the Wellfit days, our range has expanded from uniform and sports garments to corporate and safety wear. Our ability to supply all types of garments has made us a one-stop-shop for clients with a diverse range of employee roles.
